How is SwitchTermJ different from other Terminal Emulator?

About SwitchTermJ

SwitchTermJ is a light-weight java based terminal emulator designed to run on any workstation or server with java runtime environment support. Besides terminal emulation, SwitchTermJ provides support for remote host connectivity, task automation using scripting, advanced keymapping features, secure file transfer and intelligent screen scraping.


Terminal Emulation Supported - VT102, VT200 , VT320, AT&T 615, AT&T 5410,IBM 3270 (More available upon request)

Connectivity - Telnet, SSH1,SSH2

File Transfer Support - SFTP

Scripting - Support for TCL 8.0.1 scripting lanaguage and most of the Expect extensions.

Advanced Key Mapping - Any key on the keyboard can be mapped to command and character string and saved for later use.

Session Logging - Ability to log entire session and save for later review.

Intelligent Screen Scraping - Allows you to create hotspots on screen and perform action based on occurence of event.

Recording - Allows you to record key stroke and playback at a later time.
